I became a capsuleer shortly after the new battlecruisers were launched by the imperial navys a good year ago. Vividly do I remember my days fresh out of academy when my grandest dream was to fly an Oracle class battlecruiser into combat. For a long time I was convinced this would never happen, given the direction my training took and the doctrines of the fleets I was enlisted in. Now that day is near. The broad basic flight training pays off. The docks in our new home system were superbly stocked and after my abilities as a captain had been surveyed by fleet command I was allowed to take Courageous out for her first flight. Now I am sitting on my hangar balcony, sipping from a glass of vintage red and relish the sight of my beautiful, golden ship. How easy it is to fall in love when recently you had to leave behind your home, your lifework and all your belongings.
